How Private Scuba Training Works

Advantages to Private Training

The biggest advantage to private scuba training is your ability to schedule the training around your busy Schedule. Even though we still have to work around availability of our training sites,  private scuba training offers much more flexibility than a traditional scuba class. I can  accommodate up to 4 students in the class.  Our dive professional ratio will always 2 students to 1 dive professional. This allows for maximum Safety and comfort of our students.  It also allows the pace of the training to comfortable for our students.

The Cost of the class

The cost of the training is $500.00. This cost includes the e learning materials as well as the use of my gear throughout the duration of the class. I will not require you to purchase gear prior to the training. the only additional expense will be the park entry fee each day of your checkout dives. this fee ranges from $25-$30 per day depending on the training facility we use.

Once this transition is complete, you will be certified as an Open Water Scuba Diver! This phase of the training will be completed in the training lake of your choice. We have three choices for locations in the Houston area for this training. The first is Lake Longhorn, Located off of League City Parkway in League City. The next is Mammoth Lake in Lake Jackson. The third option is The Blue Lagoon which is located North of Huntsville TX. We will discuss the best option based on your location as well as your comfort level during the training
